Mechanical Engineering Technician
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Pipe and specified tool part design.
- Oversee and document product testing per established specifications.
- Encode products specifications for production.
- Perform document management (work order, quality inspection sheet, standard cost and packing entry for production).
- Update screw specs and produce POs following inspection and measurement of extruder screws and barrels.
- Support team with quality complaints in order to determine causes and solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement to operational efficiency (reduction of rejection rate, 5S, etc.)
- Perform any manner of other tasks that ensure effective operations within the organization.
- Promote organizational culture and values and uphold the company’s reputation within its market among staff, customers, partners and suppliers.
Desired profile:
- DEC in mechanical engineering or equivalent training
- Knowledge of Inventor and Autocad software
- Proficient with Office
- Manufacturing experience
- Intermediate level English (asset)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper operation of the mold, machine and peripherals
- Read the work instructions associated with the product
- Ensure product compliance using the appropriate tool
- Pack the product according to the established packaging scheme
- Follow up on events from previous shift
- Keep workstation and extrusion line clean and orderly at all times
- Follow health and safety rules and plant policies
Desired profile:
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a standing position
- Rigor, meticulousness and autonomy
- Basic knowledge of numeracy
- Basic knowledge of French
- Ability to use a measuring tool

Adjuster, Sainte-Claire
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate and adjust plastic extrusion machines
- Place the molds on different extrusion machines and overmolding stations while using the appropriate work method
- Make the necessary adjustments on the machines to ensure the quality of the product
- Ensure that the machine meets the production standards
- Detect technical problems on molds or machines and make the necessary adjustments
- Set up the workstation so that the extruder’s work is safe
- Participate in collaboration with his immediate superior to maintain the production standards up to date
- Transfer the work to the next shift
- Keep workstation and molding area neat and clean at all times
- Respect safety regulations and plant policies as well as the storage of predetermined tools
- Perform any other related duties not specifically provided for in this description at the request of his/her immediate superior
Desired profile:
- Experience in a mechanical, electromechanical or other relevant field
- Excellent technical and mechanical skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Rigor, method, meticulousness and autonomy
